Good afternoon
We are now inviting our members to submit abstracts for the Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting 2017.
Abstracts can be submitted via http://www.choosingwisely.org.au/members/choosing-wisely-australia-national-meeting-2017
The Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting 2017 will bring together existing and prospective members, as well as other key stakeholders, to showcase the progress of the initiative in the two years since launch – including measures of success and impact to date. It will be a forum to:
- recognise achievements and share learnings since the inception of Choosing Wisely Australia,
- showcase work with health professionals and consumers that aligns with initiative objectives, and to
- identify future collaboration opportunities between stakeholders.
Ultimately, the National Meeting seeks to empower Choosing Wisely stakeholders to effect a culture shift within the healthcare system – through conversations that support the ongoing effort to eliminate unnecessary tests, treatments and procedures.
The inaugural Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting 2017 will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday, 4 May.
